I went to canoeing with a friend of mine today at Busse Reservoir. It's over by the Schaumburg and Woodfield Mall in the Chicago 'burbs. Canoeing again after all these years was a great time. We started out with me paddling in the front using her kayak paddle. Unfortunately kayak paddles are not my speciality. We wended up on this little island we hung out for a while. The pics posted are from that. It turns out I paddle better in the back, or at least I think so, since I was able to use a standard canoe paddle.
Plenty of sunshine ensured my skin wasn't harmed.
We ended up going to Maggianos for dinner where I ended up eating too much.
